Hello Home Owners!
It's time to discuss exactly what the Landscapers are responsible for around our complex and what we as owners are responsible for:
Firstly, the landscapers are not garbage men. They do not pick up trash, dog and cat waste, burning piles of car parts or dead zombies. We as owners are responsible for keeping the area around our property clean. Keep this in mind the next time you stroll past an empty soda can on your way to the mail box. I'm not saying you put it there, I'm saying don't expect anyone else to pick it up, especially not a renter.
Secondly, lanscapers are responsible for trimming hedges, mowing lawns, pruning trees and cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day. If you have a tree, hedge, lawn or some other green growing element of the 'landscape' in our complex that you believe is in dire need of trimming, pruning, mowing or some other type of attention of that nature please let Stephanie know. She is in contact with the landscapers and can pass along your concerns to them.
Thirdly, with regard to the topping of certains types of trees in our complex, specifically trees that may grow too tall to be supported by their own root structures the landscapers are in the process of topping those trees. Obviously it has been slow going so far. The board is working with the landscapers to either a.) speed up the process or b.) hire someone else to do it in a weekend.
I may be updating this post with regards to landscaper responsibilities in the future so stay tuned. Thanks!

Home Owner's Dues and You
**For those of you who make your HOA dues payments online, disregard**
Hello Home Owners,
Thought I'd take a minute to go over some issues we've been having regarding the payment of homeowner's dues. First, they're due on the 15th of every month. This does not mean they can be post marked by the 15th. It means that Brink needs to have your payment by the 15th. If you're planning on paying them on the 15th day of the month you should also plan to drive out to the office of Brink Property Management and drop your payment in their lockbox on the 15th. This is the only way that paying your dues on the 15th will not result in a late fee to you. If you'd prefer to avoid driving out to Brink and dropping payment in the lockbox then you can mail in your payment using the coupons that are mailed out every month along with your bill. These coupons help the bank process your payment to Brink in a timely fashion i.e. the next business day. Without the coupons attached to your payment you're looking at about a four business day turn-around time until Brink sees your payment. If you miss a payment or otherwise have made a late payment please call Stephanie at Brink and leave her a message or let her know the circumstances behind the late payment. She may agree to waive a late fee as long as payment is made immediately. Thanks!
